These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through Retro Gamer Bros. Please read them carefully before placing any orders.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Your statutory rights under UK law remain unaffected.

Products and Description

  • Items may be new, pre-owned, vintage, or sold as seen.
  • When an item is listed as “tested”, this means it has been powered on and confirmed to reach the start-up screen only. No further testing is carried out unless explicitly stated.
  • Items marked as “sold as seen” or “non-working” are sold for parts, repairs, or collectors’ purposes. No guarantees are given for these items.

Prices and Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is taken at the time of order through secure payment methods provided on our website.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

20% Off Voucher for Video Games

  • We may occasionally offer a 20% off voucher for video games.
  • The voucher:
    • Applies only to video games, not hardware, accessories, or other products.
    • Is limited to one use per customer.
    • Cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
    • Must be used within 6 months of issue.
    • Has no cash alternative.
  • Standard returns rules apply to discounted purchases.

Pre-Orders

  • Pre-orders allow you to reserve items before they become available.
  • Payment for pre-orders is taken at the time of ordering unless otherwise stated.
  • Expected release and delivery dates are estimates only and may be subject to change due to supplier or manufacturer delays.
  • If a pre-order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and offer a full refund or alternative solution.
  • Pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund up until the item has been dispatched. Once dispatched, normal returns rules apply.

Delivery and Shipping

  • We only ship within the United Kingdom.
  • Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 working days unless otherwise stated (e.g., for pre-orders).
  • Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to postal strikes, weather conditions, or courier issues.

Cancellation & Returns

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you receive your order to cancel for any reason under UK law.
  • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging for a full refund (excluding delivery charges).
  • The customer is responsible for all return postage costs, including returns for faulty or incorrect items.

14-Day Hardware Guarantee

  • All hardware comes with a 14-day guarantee against faults not caused by misuse, neglect, modification, or accidental damage.
  • If a fault arises, contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Refunds or replacements will be offered at our discretion once the item is returned and inspected.
  • The customer pays return postage for any faulty items. 

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, postal strikes, or supply chain disruptions.

Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability for any claim relating to goods purchased is limited to the purchase price of those goods.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
